That was my first thought as well... I like the looks and it seems like the filler neck is directly in way of that.

    Small update...

Used a license plate to make that. Sprayed the same color as the interior. Might make some additional panels for the other sections when the time comes.
Ordered an ebay aluminum radiator and some hoses as well. Going with T Bolt Clamps on them. I don't expect a whole lot, but the next step up was a mishimoto, and I'm scorned from the mustang days. Somewhere there was a review that rated and tested numerous radiators, and for the mustang, it actually cooled worse than stock.
I'll give it a shot and put some mesh in front of it to avoid too much damage.

More pics and stuff to come as I get this old girl prepped.

no more heat or ac components. Trust me, I love ac, just no need here.

So far I have a PLX A/F ratio and prosport water temp. May add oil pressure and temp next. I have a bung in my moroso oil pan that would serve well for temperature...

A local group voted that I was banner worthy on facebook. What a surprise... this old girl is ugly as sin.

My radiator, hoses, and slim fans came in yesterday. I hoping I'll be installing tomorrow. Going to try to fit both slim fans in, haven't measured yet. I'm going to attempt to fix the wiring while I'm at it without using a distribution block. I think a 30 amp fuse will be more than ample for 2x fans at 80w. (2*80)/12 = 13.change. In the process, I should be able to ditch a few more lbs.

Also, getting close to starting body work. I normally wouldn't bother with this right now, but my wife is pretty excited about helping out with the exterior. (You know you have to strike while the iron is hot!)

Radiator put together. Installed, etc.. Will try to get installed pictures next time I'm around her. Not bad quality, not great fitment. A little taller than stock, but it still fits with the stock brackets, but tilted back a little. I was able to fit both slim fans in. Will start the rewiring once I get the car to my own garage.

...and pictures installed. Ignore the ugly dirty bay. Still need to wire up the fans. Figured I'd use both since they weigh less than the single OEM fan I had on before.

Also, just a random shot of the fuel gauge. I need to get better photos of this because I kind of like the setup. Used the Chasebays filter and lines, plus I bought this gauge fairly cheap on Amazon. What I really like is that the fitting screws directly into the OEM fuel rail since. (No more mushroom tip...)

Just some random things. Picked up:
                    Moog Ball Joints
                    Moog Front Sway Bar Links
                    Hawk DTC-60 Pads
                    Centric Premium Blank Rotors

I finally replaced the passenger side brake line with a stainless one as well. (If you have picture of how yours are routed, please share!) Super ATE Blue flushed through the system. (Old school original blue, not that it makes a difference) Has Hawk HPS on the rear, unknown front. Signed up for an event April 16-17. Not usually a Hawk guy, but I'll run them since everyone seems to have them in stock with short notice. A friend and I will share the car. Anyways... Some more random pictures.

One of these things doesn't belong...

                        • The buddy who is sharing the car harassed me a little about my front camber, or lack thereof. I sprung for the hardrace kit up front. That should arrive in 3-4 days, so I'll have time to install before my track day.
Working on a couple little things. Finally got my 5 panel mirror installed.

Also working out a little project on some headlights I have... (Ignore the wonderful rat's nest... that's addressed in phase 2 lol)

                          Until next time friends!

                          • Nice headlight duct project! I've been wanting to do something similar for years but it's low on the priority list. I can't wait to see how yours turns out. Where'd you get that cf duct piece?

                            • Some of my other friends bought an E30 WRL car and it was just randomly stuck somewhere useless. It found its way into my trunk while they were cleaning the car up, so I figured I'd use it.
