    Brake line tuck

    Hey everyone, I am tucking my brakelines on my da. I have most of it done except for the lines going from my prop valve to my front calipers. Has anyone done this before? How should I run these lines? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    where is your prop valve? if it is inside the car, i believe there are some fittings that allow you to run your lines through the firewall. look here

    im intrerested in seeing some pics as well of where people are putting the bulkheads for the front calipers i will find a spot more than likely but i just want to see what others have done with out running into trouble with the upper control arms..please post pics!!1

    why do you people do this stuff to your cars? manufactures spend millions to design cars, if they thought putting the lines in a different place would be better they would have done it,

    Your brakes worked fine, probably wont after this, leaks down the line....

    oh i dunno....

    anything can be done but you jus have to do it right plus if your into show then it makes your engine bay look clean so thats the reason for people tuckin there lines

    lol i like all my wires, lines and cables to be easily accessed when they break.

    but i guess you actually have to drive your car hard enough to break stuff to actually care about that, so i guess thats a moot point with the show crowd.

    have fun copying what volkswagen kids did in the early 90s

    you guys ever heard of doing it right the first time, Well thats wat it takes to get things done the first time around so parts wont break unless you drive like an asshole then yea things are most likely to break. everyone has diff ways to build a car some people want clean some want oem and some want a little bit of both but at the end of the day your gonna want to build your car the way you want it to be

    here are my lines from the firewall to master cylinder i wanted to knopw where to go from the inside to the front calipers

    well i know you have to drill a hole from your wheel well for the front brake lines im not to sure on how you route it because ups fucked up my delivery so now i have to wait on getting my brake lines back from them but i will post pics as soon as i get it done

    hehe i knew that too...but on honda-tech all they show are ek civics most of the time so you cant go off what those pics show because ours dont look anything like that..so im going to put my foot rest back in and see what i can work with from there and i will post pics for the guys that ARE interested in this process of tucking their brake lines

    well i had talked to chase from chase bays inc. and he told me to run it through the wheel well so whenever i get my package back ima look at the figures he sent me

    Just like the vw kids copied the hot rod guys. What's your point? People are gonna do what they like to their cars.

    lol the negative comments in this thread are funny...

    I did this with my integra over the winter. No its not a show car...i use it for track days. I had to remove the abs system because it was in the way of the engine and i didnt want to relocate the entire system. Also im not using an oem prop valve im using an adjustable wilwood. The front line are getting though to the wheelwell using the stock holes...there must be a cleaner looking way but i dont care (nothing special its not a showcar).

    dont get me wrong, being a mechanic and a person who has wanted to build my own integra (from my head) i would never (NEVER) f**k with brakes, what ever about the rest of the car, ive looked at some of the posts here and love the pictures of engine bays.... and love them
