    side note*

vtec motors benefit greatly from a larger or multiple points (oe style 2pt.) as they do have that higher rev avg. (The faster it's spinning more sparks are going through and thus a larger or more points on the ground will smooth it out).

As far as HP/TQ something as simple as grounding (and complex ) will not ADD hp/tq as previously stated but return it to the max attainable from the mechanical components and tuning. As in the previous block the faster you spin that sucker more current is being passed through and if you're bottle-necking in the ground it will make a slow/uneven acceleration, as well as potential meltage of wires from the accumulated heat.

Fortunately you're not passing a zillion volts through at 100000 amps as you'd really need to pay attention.

Honestly I've run with a pretty big single and 2 oe size grounds and didn't notice any difference. Even at 8500 rpm nothing.
What's this mean? Means if you have a ground or you have 2 grounds or 1 HUMONGOUS ground you probably will never know the diff.

Also (it was said) but that one that connects that the valve cover goes through the whole head, lol it's on a stud that is connected to a cam cap.

I figured the little valve cover ground loop was to filter out any possible high voltage plug wire interference or electrical noise. Not too sure maybe it would keep any bad plug wire from arcing to something else that's grounded near by if the cover wasn't.
