  • need to remove/replace shifter linkage

I just replaced my transmission and the linkage was still attached when I got the tranny in. I ended up keeping their linkage rod attached since I didn't want to fuss with the pin but now I have to remove the linkage and replace it but I need to do it in the car, is there a trick to removing it while in the car? I know i had to remove the original with a vise while I had it out of the car and that really isn't an option this time around.

    Thanks for any help

Not really, just gotta get the bitch pin out...Be sure not to slip with the hammer and crack the tranny or anything like that...
