  • what radiator hoses should i order

for my obd1 b16 swap should i order samco hoses for a 88-91 civic W/b16 swap or 92-95 civic W/b16 swap or ITR hoses??

Just order hoses for a G2. All B-series are the same I believe. Your going from B-series to another B-Series. Unless you have a different radiator, like a half size.

Okay, the B16 is slightly different. After searching I found a picture of a 99 Si w/ the B16. Try using those hoses.

your stock hoses will work. I had a b16 in my old DA and used the original hoses. I now have a GSR with the original B17 (which is pretty much the same as the B16 as far this is concerned) and I just ordered new radiator hoses. The part numbers are the same for the GSR as the LS motors.

Use the upper hose for a 92-93 GSR and the lower hose is the same for all.

I went with the B16 Skunk2 hose kit which is for b16a2/a3 (99-00 Si/Del Sol VTEC). From my experience the upper hose from a ls and gsr are shorter than a b16. The lower hose is universal for pretty much all b-series.

Edit: Maybe i shouldnt say "shorter" but the problem i ran into was i ordered the hose kit from samco for a stock DA, meaning with LS, and due to the hoses being out of the hard silicone they were not flexible enough to reach the hose connection on top of the head. The LS and GSR connection is around the VTEC Solenoid (obviously im refering to the gsr as the ls head doesnt have a vtec solenoid lol) and the B16 is slighltly behind the Distributor location. So i ended up switching to Skunk2's. I see anyone running into this problem when using silicone hoses and maybe not regular Autozone hoses. Please respond if anyone has ever encountered anything different.

Yeah I wanna run the camo hoses so I might go ahead an get them for the del sol but ill be upset to spend 160 on hoses that don't fit lol ! Cause I will not run autozone or advance auto hoses on my Rhd

Yea i was pretty pissed and disappointed when i saw they didnt fit. Go on Skunk2 and look at the picture of the hoses i used so you get a good idea of what the shape looks like before you order

Edit: And make sure its the VTEC del sol
