    • Went out to my first track day since Turbo. It was a cheap one, $100 for the day. I only meant it to be a shakedown, but man is this thing a hoot! The issues I found were the ARP stainless nuts (or some titanium ones, so I was told) 4 of the 9 came off the exhaust manifold. And the tube to the wastegate came loose. I found some spare nuts and bolted those down then drove it home after 2 sessions. There are 2 nuts that I have no idea how they got on, being 12pt and the stud is directly against, or damn close to, something else. I'll be sacrificing a 10mm wrench with the 12 pt on the end to hope I can get at these things. To hopefully solve the problem, I'm going to put some of these stage 8 bolts on. You basically bend that triangle around the manifold or against a tube. That's what the folks at inline recommended, so worth a shot. Grabbed some copper nuts just in case as well.

The entire ride there the car stayed in the 165 range temp wise. It was a cool day. In the second session the car got up to 180 ish, but that's that. Being that this is Texas and the car will be driven in the summer, will probably start with a better fan than the ebay man. It has an ebay radiator, turbo is water cooled, mishimoto themostat and mishimoto matching fan switch. In case it hasn't been said before, do not do those two mods separately. You'll over work the fan or not cool the coolant enough before the thermostat is wide open.

We also noticed while doing the alignment that the passenger axle was dorked up. Self inflected wound from a friend 'pulling' the axle out of the tranny there. $40 part, in stock at Autozone. Lifetime warranty. Gotta love mid-nineties hondas. The alignment I used this time was 3.1* camber in the front and 2.7/2.1 in the rear. (Not sure why off, but will be looking for a kit soon) Ran a little bit of toe in by recommendation of the alignment specialist. He said it would help with the torque steer. I think I may zero that or go a little out, but it did help alot with torque steer. The rear swaybar (ASR hollow kit) is fantastic. The car feels very hooked up. Can't wait until the next one!

And some more information: That tablet was great. I'd probably need to adjust it so it's more visible, but it works really good! Previously I didn't have a speedometer, but now I do and it's just as accurate as my phone's GPS. Hoping to get a better mount designed and then see about making more.

      • I guess I never posted my dyno either. It's not much, but for a B20, here's hoping it's pretty reliable.

          • Figured I'd share a few other things. Recently painted the car, poorly. Also have cut the hood and added vents. The tablet, we've designed a 3D printed mount. It hold well. May send the design to have it made in aluminum at some point. I'll be making side windows out of lexan soon, and possibly the rear hatch if I can't find a FAL one, since they don't seem to make one anymore. I'll do a write up during the process.

            • I don't know if they still do but there was a place called like Y&S Lexan that had rear Lexan for the Integra. But I think they were only in Facebook. Might be worth a shot if you can't find the FAL piece.

              Also what color is that?

I mean I think it looks pretty good in pictures haha, I want to paint my car similar to that color that's why I asked. Not anything to fancy but at least get the car not multiple colors.

Did you notice a decent improvement in cooling with venting the hood?

                  • I haven't tested it yet to be honest. At speed the car was fine; however, at a standstill in ~90 degree weather, it would begin warming up. I had a terrible fan in the car and have since switched to a large more robust fan. I've also switched out the traction bar which frees up a lot of space, but as we know heat rises so I don't know whether that will contribute or not.

As far as the color goes, yeah I still treated it as an amateur paintjob with a spray gun & compressor. Threw a bit of hardener into the paint as well. It's just ok, and could have been much better. I don't think I thinned enough, so now I'm really regretting the hardener as I wetsand my way through it. Car is not a show car, but like you said, all one color.

I heard back from Y&S actually, waiting on quotes for the rear window; i'll likely go ahead and do the side windows myself as I have a special design in mind. Thank you very much for the information!
