    • Nice. Any of the Fluidyne units I've handled have felt like they were quality pieces.. and I haven't read many instances of odd leakage like some of the other lesser-known brands.

Here's to meeting your goals bud! I want some dyno vids!

      • I have the same stripped halfshaft bolt. Also have a stripped transmission to block bolt. Need to look into fixing those sooner rather then later. Previous owner didn't know how to tighten bolts apparently.

Thanks man, hopefully dyno vids to come soon once my NEW oil leak is settled...

          On to the updates

finally got the radiator in and had it promptly modified with a new 6an bung.

          OLD vs NEW

Looks like they revised there post design

ready to go to the welder

          X marks the spot

          installed and plumbed in

Back together and out for a test drive.

Now even as fun as it was. the test drive reviled one thing to me. still leaking oil... After going from be extremely disheartened too extremely pissed off. I decided I dont have the time for this BS any more and it was time to enlist in the help of the seasoned professional. So this afternoon me and old girl took the long drive to the dealer for my mechanic to take a look at and fix. what he found is that one of the lower oil pump bolts is leaking. there must have been an air bubble in the honda bond so when I set it and when compressed didnt provide enough sealant. Mehhh who knows what it could be.

The leaking bolt/bolt has been removed..

Snaged a coupld of cool pics while the car was in the air.

Got a good pic of the exhaust.

Where it stands as of now... I left the car with him to have the oil pump removed agian and all to be fixed and leak free for me to return too. time frame on this... Unknown. hes gonna be doing it afterhours one day but not sure when hes gonna be able to get to it. heres hoping its not more then a week or two.

                      • Thanks guys its great to be back. I plan on spending all night on g2ic reading up The new job has been quite an experience for me but things are going well and we are starting to settle into the business as usual days but the laundry to-do list never gets any smaller.. lol

First off. Ill post this. Not to bad for 6lbs untuned!

So I suppose its time I finally get into my past teggy what im going to call “headaches” Last time I checked in I had posted about my oil leak. I was just fed up at that point and just didn’t have the time to deal with it. I sent it to my mechanic at the dealer to let him sort it out. One week turned into 2. Then 3 weeks.. Finally 1 1/2 months later. This is what we came to find out.
He solved the leaking bolt no problem, After that he found that if you let it sit idleing all day it wouldnt leak a drop but as soon as you boosted on it, came back to the shop, it would drip for a couple minutes and the oil pan gasket was bubbling like a nail in a tire would if you sprayed it with soapy water. After a week he called to inform me that He A 25 year acura master tech… was stumped. This is where I had to get involved. A week of me picking the brain of a couple local fabricators as well as my own. I figured out that it was a combination of 2 things. I figgured out the placement of the bungs on the VC we not placed properly and cause of this, Oil was being flung off of the camshaft and into the breather ports and the result were that it was pluging the 2 top lines. The second problem was the routing of the hosing was was letting the oil pool which only magnified the breathing problems. This actually took a whole revision of the VC ports to solve. How about some pics

This of course, led to another issue in order to gain the hood clearance I needed. I had to buy some new lower profile an fittings and do some slight trimming of the hood webbing. Easy Fix..

This thing is a pricy little piece of plastic but if you do a lot of AN lines I highly recommend it. This made doing hoses way easier..

Not only Does this way look a million times better. because I am using the stock baffling in the VC, Im not loosing ANY oil to the catch can and all my leaks have since disappeared and ive been driving it for a couple days know to work and you could see the vapors coming out of the catch can on the dyno so everything is working flawlessly. "knocks on wood" tuning day is in less than a week. time to start getting excited

                          • Diggin the new setup man! Especially being that it is functional lol

As frustrating as these things get, the feeling of accomplishment trumps every time.

Glad the car is back on all four wheels bud.

                            • I also Have to add even though the dyno vid is great. The only reason it came out and went on was in memory of a fellow G2IC member(Schneb) and local Honda Hero Shelby Henderson, who lost his long battle with cancer in October. There was an awsome turnout in his memory and will be a day ill never forget...

                              Rest in Peace my friend!!!
